Governor Asa Hutchinson says Arkansas is doing things right and new economic figures serve as proof.

The state’s GDP (gross domestic product) grew by 3.5 percent in the second quarter of 2017, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis report released yesterday. That’s the 14th largest growth in the nation.

“This is great economic news for Arkansas as we head into the final weeks of 2017,” Gov. Hutchinson said. “This is further evidence that we are enjoying a season of renewed growth in our state and confirms that our economy continues to trend in the right direction.
